Physical Description (Or picture):
Her dark red hair is almost always pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of her face. Her eyes are silver and electric blue, obviously cybernetic and possibly offputting, though she generally keeps sunglasses on when off the job. Otherwise she has no piercings, tattoos, or identifying marks of any kind. When not on duty she wears nondescript clothing, seeming intent on drawing as little attention as possible.
Powers and Special Abilities:
Cybernetically Enhanced Optics – Giselle's eyes have been completely replaced with cybernetics. She has perfect 20/20 vision, an image link, eye recording unit, flare compensation, low-light, UV and thermographic vision.
Cybernetically Enhanced Reflexes – A multitude of neural boosters and adrenalin stimulators have been implanted in strategic locations all over Giselle's body, shortening her reaction time.
Advanced Sniper Training -- Exceptionally skilled in all aspects of sniper work, including land navigation, marksmanship, stalking techniques, camouflage and reconnaissance techniques. Also capable of maintaining a dormant position for extended periods of time while waiting for the perfect opportunity to engage the enemy.
Weapons and Gear:
Standard-issue military gear.
Swan Song, a custom-made sniper rifle issued to Giselle by her old Geo-Def unit. While not quite up to par with the latest and greatest models on the market, it is still quite impressive, accurate up to a maximum of 1.3k yards with its scope.
Weaknesses:
Her cybernetic eyes are obvious, which may draw unwanted attention. In addition, her cybernetics can be damaged or outright destroyed if she's hit by a strong enough EMP or electric shock.
Though she works fine with a team, in more informal settings Giselle is rather socially awkward, despite her best efforts to the contrary.
Background:
Born in the Commonwealth of Gaia to a middle-class family, Giselle entered the military upon graduating from high school in order to pay for college. Her schooling was abandoned, however, when she successfully completed a screening course for the STS. She was assigned to STS-10 and became a career soldier.
It is unclear when exactly she left Geo-Def and under what circumstances, but she's been working freelance in Arcady as of late.
