Breaking News: The Commonwealth enforces evacuation of Vesta

EULER, VESTA - Premier of the Commonwealth Sotirios L. Economaki approved the second article of the Territory Reclamation and Collectivization Act today, enabling the System Alliance Peacekeeper Corps and Geo-Def to legally evict all citizens of Vesta and the occupied Belt Colonies starting as early as next month. Evicted citizens will be relocated to the new Taron Colony located on Earth's North America continent. Many locals have been shaken by this recent declaration. Clarence Yancy, a native of Euler and resident of B-Ring for nearly 50 years was forced to shut his restaurant, 'Fancy Yancy's', down today for the first time in over thirty years.

"This is the first we have even heard of something like this," said Yancy as he locked the restaurant's doors for possibly the last time. "My family's born and raised Vestans for seven generations. My great grandkids are born spacers. Earth's gonna be hard on 'em."

Many people like Yancy have began to file complaints with the Gaian Ministry of Civil Liberties. Gregor Laszlo, Secretary-Minister of the MCL was unavailable for comments at this time.
